Meet Kyle - Lead Audio Engineer

Kyle is an audio engineer and music business professional based in San Diego, California. As the founder of Big Oats Music, he runs live sound for events, mixes and masters for artists, and records in the studio and on location.

His focus is live event sound, plus high quality, competitive mixes and release ready masters that hold up across streaming platforms and playback systems. He also records in the studio and captures live and concert performances. With a strong foundation in both studio production and music business, Kyle approaches every project with an understanding of not just how a record should sound, but how it will live in the real world. In addition to engineering, he has experience with music rights and royalty systems, giving him a practical view of the full release process.

He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Audio Production from Full Sail University and a Certificate in Music Business from Berklee College of Music, and he is a student at The Recording Arts Center at Studio West. He is also an Air Force veteran.
